PRESENTING AT UFVA CONFERENCE
JULY 19 - 22, 2023
At the the 77th University Film & Video Association Conference, I'll present the workshop "The Filmmaker's Guide to Creatively Embracing Limitations," with co-creator Bill Pace of Seton Hall University, where we'll speak about themes in our upcoming book of the same title.

THE DOG STAR
SPRING, 2023
I'm looking forward to entering production on the short Documentary The Dog Star. The film is an autobiographical examination of the effects of time and location on adult perceptions of self: Expanding on the myth of Laelaps and the Teumessian Fox, the film explores whether an identity can ever be fully formed when strong facets of everyday life are in opposition to one another.

RECIPIENT OF THE MASSACHUSETTS
CULTURAL COUNCIL CULTURAL SECTOR PANDEMIC RECOVERY GRANT
FEBRUARY 2023
In February I received The Massachusetts Cultural Council Cultural Sector Pandemic Recovery Grant. The grant was part of a unique state-wide artist-supporting initiative and will serve in support of the documentary The Dog Star. I'm deeply appreciative and look forward to moving forward with the additional support.
