Utilizing the interlaced nature of VHS footage, the maker recreates the evolution of her own unique visual and auditory experience in the world. Evolving in a sensory capacity over time to mimic childhood defects in the ears and eyes, visual scans found in analogue tape serve as metaphor as she reexamines her first year.
